DENVER – On February 26, History Colorado, the Colorado Preserve America Youth Summit and the Discover Colorado program students from the Adams 12 School District joined the Colorado General Assembly on the floor to hear the reading of Senate Joint Resolution 16-010 Concerning the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the National Historic Preservation Act.
DENVER - History Colorado is proud to partner with the Americas Latino Eco Festival for Americas Latino Eco Festival Family Day on October 17. As part of the three-day event, the largest environmental festival of its kind, History Colorado will join that discussion by providing a local historical context to contemporary issues of environmentalism.
DENVER – Senator Leroy Garcia and Representative Daneya Esgar will present a check in the amount of $200,000, to the City of Pueblo for their recent History Colorado State Historical Fund grant for the interior rehabilitation of the Pueblo City Hall and Memorial Hall Auditorium. The special event will take place at 5:30pm on Wednesday October 28th, on the front steps of the City Hall. Along with the check presentation, attendees are invited to tour the facilities to see the early stages of progress.
