DENVER –  On Wednesday, December 2nd, at 1:00 P.M. the Ute Indian Museum will celebrate the start of its expansion with a groundbreaking ceremony. The ceremony will kick off an approximately 3,350-square-foot expansion that will allow added capacity for event rentals, educational and program space, and a renewed exhibit on Ute culture and history.

DENVER –  History Colorado and the University of Colorado Boulder have formed a collaborative partnership to advance the understanding and appreciation of Colorado’s vast history. As a key component of the partnership, Governor John Hickenlooper has named CU-Boulder Professor Patty Limerick to serve as the new Colorado State Historian.

DENVER –  History Colorado will honor outstanding individuals and communities who are preserving Colorado’s diverse past at the History Colorado awards ceremony on February 3 at the History Colorado Center in Denver.
