We encourage mask wearing for all youth program participants, teachers and chaperones. If the school district does not require students to wear masks, then we will honor their policy.

    Out-of-School Field Trips

    Bring your group to the History Colorado Center! Perfect for organizations that provide child care for students during school breaks. Discover our state’s history through hands-on exhibits, artifacts, and activities! Copies of our Time Travel Adventure guide will be provided.

    Student (Pre-K-12th grade): $5
    Adult Chaperone: Free *
    Extra Adult: $8*

    *1:10 ratio for chaperones required; 1 free chaperone per 10 kids; extra adults $8 each.

    Available dates: June 10 - August 9, 2024.
    Exclusion dates: June 19, July 4 & 5, August 1. 

    We will open reservations for School Year 2024-2025 in late summer.

    Virtual Field Trips

    We’re bringing our popular Colorado history field trips right to you. History Colorado provides Virtual Field Trips that explore the state’s history, people, and environment in fun and educational ways. Aligned with Colorado Academic Standards, the programs are taught by our talented educators in History Colorado museums all over the state. With Title I discounts and availability every week, our Virtual Field Trips are accessible for every classroom.
