Hands-On History at the Ute Indian Museum

Join us at the Ute Indian Museum for Winter Break Camp! Hands-On History provides safe, engaging learning opportunities for elementary & middle school children (grades 1st through 5th).

Step into our Winter Culture Camp and discover the rich traditions of the Ute people. Delve into the sacred places and Mother Earth Connections through hands-on activities. You'll gain insight into Ute Culture, savor the flavors of frybread, and embrace different cultures that have woven this and many heritages together. Join us in celebrating the winter season by delving into a world of tradition, spirituality and culture!

Who: 1st - 5th graders

When: December 27 to 29 & February 19 to 21 from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

Where: Ute Indian Museum, 17253 Chipeta Rd. Montrose, CO 81403

Cost:  $50 per day, with automatic tuition assistance available:
